Liz Brown

I am fortunate to know and have as friends some of the finest guitar players in Atlanta, Georgia.  Here are links to their websites and/or YouTube instructional videos.

Little Brother  www.littlebrotherblues.com

Doug "Little Brother" Jones is one of Atlanta's finest blues purists performing today.  Little Brother has played with many of Atlanta's original blues masters and their kin.  He spends a lot of time breaking down classic blues tunes by Curly Weaver, or Son House, or Blind Willie McTell and showing you how to put the parts together so by the end of a half hour lesson, you are playing the tunes the way they were meant to be played.  His instructional videos are priceless because they actually WORK, and you will be playing the songs he teaches by the end of his video.  No joke.

Alex Commins  www.alexcomminsmusic.com

Joe "PigIron" Shifalo often said Alex Commins was one of the best fingerpickers he'd ever heard.  A longtime repeat offender from Jorma Kaukonen's Fur Peace Ranch, and old timey jug band member, Alex is an extraordinary fingerpicker.  He gives private lessons and is working on instructional DVDs which he will sell on his website.  He is the guitar player on "Fare Thee Well" and "Mississippi Blues" on my audio player.
